"Dancer" Duke & "Lil Red" April
Just wanted to let you know what a great experience it was to visit the Running R Ranch. That was a trip we will cherish for a lifetime and will hopefully repeat in the not too distant future. The down home hospitality and attitude of the entire staff made the experience feel like a very true representation of Texas cowboy country and the honest and welcoming nature of the real cowboy. The rides were excellently tailored to the various levels of riding experience in order to ensure both enjoyment and safety to all involved. This speaks volumes to the expertise of your staff. A special thanks to Dale, Vince and Lou for their great work. And thanks to Beverly and her kitchen staff for the great meals. And also a big thank you to Ralph and Iris for operating their ranch in such a way as to remain true to the spirit of the Old West and maintaining an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Oh, and Dale, April says if and when we see you at the Nascar track, IT IS ON!!! Thanks for the great time. We'll be back!

Hi Ya'll! Missing the RR like crazy!
Thank you for giving us such a fantastic time on the RR (?Relaxation and Recreation!) Ranch - It was a good choice of a change of direction in your lives - The peace and the wide open spaces beats the city any day!
You have a great team and one to be proud of - Very supportive, entertaining and hard-working
Lou, the manager; Vince and Dale, the very entertaining cowboys/wranglers
; Beverley, who conjured up some delicious meals; Marianne, the housekeeper, (don't envy her job!)
Not forgetting the horses, of course! All very individual with their own character who are well-fed, well-schooled and well looked after - Also patient and understanding! - Must have virtues!!!!
Simon hadn't ridden before and thoroughly enjoyed himself. He's now hooked big-time and has caught the "western riding" bug!
Once again a huge thank you - We'll be back!!!

Lou, Vince, Iris, Ralph and Dale,
Thank you so much for a wonderful time. Zach and Noah were so excited about helping out with the horses. You don't know them to know how amazing it is for them to volunteer to get up early for one and do what some might consider "work" for two. Dancee and I also had a great time. Your horses were amazingly gentle, yet they don't seem worn out or broken down like some places that offer "trail rides".
For once, I didn't receive one complaint about their "Christmas gifts" this year. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back.
Vince, tell Rachel Dancee says Hello!
Happy New Year to all of you!!

Howdy from Austin. We're back in the city, but are missing the ranch already! Our stay at Running-R Ranch this weekend was one of our best vacations to date. To be able to connect with the horses, be outside in the hills, enjoy good cooking and company, and a peaceful sit by the fire...nothing beats it. We were sad to leave. I have been telling everyone about you guys and what a great thing you have going. We're already talking about when we can come back!
Thanks again for everything!

Hello Iris, Ralph, Lou, Vince, and Dale!!!
My dad and I got home safely and are missing you guys already. Each time we come back it just keeps getting better and better. I was talking to my mum when I got back and she told me something interesting. She said she was so glad she had found your place, and the main reason why she picked it was because Iris sounded so nice on the phone. That amused me.
Thanks for such a wonderful fourth visit. Your ranch seems to be the only place my dad and I can really connect. I appreciate it. Well goodbye and best wishes for now all! We'll be seeing you again soon.
~Melanie Handley
P.S. Iris I'm turning 16 in May so I'll be expecting a job in the summer, Lou and I already talked about it!

yeeeeeee Ha!
Lou, Vince und Dale waren Klasse! Iris und Ralph waren perfekte Gastgeber. Running R ranch war absolutes highlight unserer 4 wochen Reise in den USA; snobby Boston und cape cod konnten letztendlich nicht punkten;
we`ll all be back, sometime

I also had fun at the ranch and enjoyed the food we ate and the company you all gave, as well as sitting by the pool. I wished it could have been longer maybe I would have gotten on that horse if it was.
You made us feel like you had known us forever and that is always a welcoming feeling.
Who knows may see you down the road a ways!
